Advanced Pediatric Associates Launches a Local Walk With a Doc Chapter
We're excited to announce that Advanced Pediatric Associates is now an official local chapter of Walk with a Doc! Walk with a Doc is a national nonprofit program that began in 2005 when an Ohio cardiologist invited his patients to join him for a walk in the park while discussing healthy living. What started as a simple idea has grown into an international movement with hundreds of chapters helping people improve their health through one of the easiest forms of exercise—walking.
At Advanced Pediatric Associates, we believe healthy habits start with small, consistent steps. By launching our own Walk with a Doc chapter, we're creating a fun, welcoming opportunity for families, patients, staff, and neighbors to get outside, stay active, and connect with one another.
Join us on the second Saturday of every month at 9:00 AM at Peakview Park South (19399 E. Prentice Ave., Centennial, CO 80015), next to Peakview Elementary School.
Our first community walk is Saturday, July 11!
Everyone is welcome—patients and non-patients alike. Bring your family, friends, grandparents, strollers, or even your dog! Walk for 10 minutes or stay for the entire hour. There are no fitness requirements, no registration, and no cost—just fresh air, movement, and the chance to spend time with our providers outside the office.
