Joy Diamond earned her Master’s degree in Nursing from the University of Colorado School of Nursing in 1993, where she was honored with the Outstanding Graduate Award. Board certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) since 1993, Joy has a wealth of experience in pediatric care. Her career includes five years at the Texas Children's Cancer Center in Houston, TX, followed by a year at the University of Minnesota Bone Marrow Transplant Center in Minneapolis.

Joy dedicated 24 years to Advanced Pediatrics from 1998 to 2022, and after a brief stint in endocrinology, she is thrilled to return to her roots in general pediatrics. Her passion lies in empowering children and families, especially those with special needs, chronic illnesses, and mental health challenges. Outside of work, Joy enjoys singing in the choir, skiing, exploring the great outdoors in Colorado, cheering on the University of Kansas basketball team, and supporting her two teenagers in their sports activities.
