Our Committment to Customer Service

Dear Patients and Family Members,

The providers and staff and Advanced Pediatric Associates are committed to providing excellent clinical care in a professional and caring environment. We believe strongly in the medical home concept, and our goal is to build a long-term relationship with our patients and their families. It is rewarding for us to watch patients move from infancy to adolescence and to play an important part in that journey.

Although we have a long-standing and exemplary history in the communities we serve, we never take our services or our patients for granted. We continue to work hard to make the practice better for our patients, our providers and our employees. We are dedicated to our customer service slogan - "Big Enough to Meet Your Needs... Small Enough to Show We Care!" This slogan was developed to convey what we consider our two greatest strengths:
  • Our staff's commitment to providing compassionate and personalized care

  • Our size and years of experience -- which allow us to offer some of the most advanced services and technology available to our patients
Our entire web-site is based on providing a comprehensive source of accurate and educational information to our parents, and our patient care/nurse advice line is a good example of value-added service that we offer our patients. We think that adding new services such as the opportunity to request prescription refills on-line or download clinical forms off of our web-site provides time-savings and convenience to busy parents.

We are most proud, however, of our staff and the work they do each and every day to make the practice better for you as a patient as well as for the APA team. Our care coordinators in the call center, receptionists and medical assistants in our practice sites, referral and ADHD specialists, medical records staff, business office staff, and administrative staff join our registered nurses, mid-level providers and physicians as members of your medical home team.

Because we always want to improve our service to you, it is important for us to know if you have had a problem with a visit, a referral, an insurance or payment issue or if you have an idea for the practice. There are Comment Cards for your convenience in all of our offices - please let us know if we have done a good job, or if we did not meet your expectations for some reason. Hearing from you is one way that we can continue to meet your needs and expectations. You may also contact our office managers directly to discuss an issue or problem - they are great at helping resolve issues or explaining a certain policy. And, you are always welcome to contact me directly if you have a problem that you think is slow to be resolved.
