Vitamin K, Erythromycin & Hepatitis B

We recommend that hospital staff give your newborn a Vitamin K injection (to prevent bleeding disorder), Erythromycin eye ointment, and the first Hepatitis B vaccine while you are in the hospital If you have any questions or concerns regarding this, please discuss with our rounding physician at the hospital. Be sure to bring a record of the Vitamin K injection, Erythromycin eye ointment, and Hepatitis B vaccination to your first office visit.
