Positive Reinforcement / Rewards

Rewarding children for doing the right thing, for good behavior, or for doing something positive can be a powerful strategy for parents. Sometimes, though, we may feel as though we are bribing our children—so try to stick to natural, reasonable rewards. For example, when a child completes his or her chores in time, you now have time to the park or play a game.
