Office Manager - Aurora, Parker, and Stapleton Offices

Full Time
Three Office Locations 

The medical office manager is responsible for successful day to day operations, manages and supervises the administrative and clinicial staff, and is an integral part of our practice management team. Our centralized operations team of HR, IT, referrals, call center and financial servides provides our office managers with valuable support. The office manager will align with the mission and the vision of the practice organization while adhering to the policies and procedures established to ensure excellence in maintaining best practices for quality patient care.

This position would involve weekly travel between office sites

Must have at least five (5) years of management experience in a primary care setting, proven expertise in staff training and development, excellent customer service, good working knowledge of documentation and coding requirements, and must possess proficiency in computer skills with experience in use of an EMR system.  Learn More....

Medical Assistant

Candidate will be responsible for assisting providers in the examination and treatment of patients. Responsible for administering vaccines, venipuncture, ordering and reporting on lab and x-ray results. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assisting and completed an externship in a clinical setting. Will be working with an electronic medical record system in a busy medical office.

Medical Records Specialist

This position will be responsible for processing a high volume of patient records, including requests by phone, fax, mail and electronically. Distributes incoming patient information and ensures that outgoing requests are handled accurately and in a timely manner. Strong computer skills in MS Office, Adobe, and Epic preferred. Identify and send documents and forms requests to the correct staffing pool or provider. Communicate effectively and professionally with staff and providers.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be familiar with release of information processing guidelines and HIPAA and a high attention to detail.

REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent and one year in related field preferred.

Advanced Pediatric Associates is currently looking for an experienced Administrator to join our team.  APA is a large and dynamic independent pediatric practice with four clinical practice sites in Aurora, Centennial, Parker, and Stapleton, Colorado. The staff consists of 24 physician and mid-level providers, six direct-report managers, and 60+ support staff. Reporting directly to the four physician owners of the practice, the administrator is responsible and accountable for providing successful leadership in the areas of organizational governance, clinical and business operations, financial management, human resources, patient care systems, and special projects. 

The successful applicant will have a minimum of five years of senior leadership experience in a large group practice and proven expertise in directing human resources, marketing, provider relations, IT/communications, and clinical and business operations.  Learn more...

Triage Nurse, RN

Full time, part time and PRN opportunities with our telephone triage team for an RN that wants an interesting and rewarding position in a supportive and friendly medical setting. Our nurses are an important part of our provider team and work with families of patients using nationally-recognized telephone triage protocols.

Responsible for assessing and classifying patients to determine appropriate medical needs and urgency of care. Carry out telephone triage responsibilities based on established APA medical guidelines, nursing process and LVM Systems telephone protocols. Requires excellent clinical and customer service skills as well as strong computer skills. RN license required.

APA offers competitive salaries, a great benefit package and a four day work week for full time. Must be able to work at least 1 Saturday morning per month.
